This February marks the 75th anniversary of Operation Hailstone, the airstrike that sealed the fate of the Japanese Fleet in Micronesia. These shipwrecks put Chuuk Lagoon on the map as the world's number one wreck diving destination. The ships are teeming with life and full of guns, torpedoes and all manner of wartime relics. It's adventurous diving and well worth the journey.
